For all of you reading this, please pray for the doctor who will be doing my surgery tomorrow! It’s another leap into the unknown, as we do not know if he can remove the lump and if he cannot, what happens next!

We went to St. John Vianney tonight, they have a prayer garden with a statue of St.Perigrine there. He is the patron St. of cancer. Not sure I would want that title, but hey, he made it go away! The Pastor Fr. johns came out and said a prayer with us and it was a nice way to start off the eve of surgery! I go at 1:15 pm tomorrow, surgery to start at 2:40, doc says it is a 45 minute procedure if all goes well.  I figure I can be home and ready for the kids baseball games at 6 and 7:15 – right? then 3 days of swim meets Fri, Sat and Sun!  I should be good to go – yes?! I am feeling it!! I even get to be the deck police on Sunday – that is my favorite swim job ever!!

J has been at swim camp these last 3 days and I have gone a little early to watch her and I have to honestly say that there is something about her swimming and the pool atmosphere that made me feel at peace!  I can’t really explain it, but I looked forward to going so I could just sit, by myself, and watch!  I think that is going to be a big part of my getting through this. No one there knows what is going on or that it went on before so no one talks about it or dodges talking to me cuz they don’t know what to say. It’s cool, I’m just me, Jenna’s crazy swim mom! Really! Thanks for all the comments on the blog – I love hearing what you all have to say! this is just the beginning of this journey! The thoughts are inspiring and uplifting and I couldn’t do this again without all of you and all your words of encouragement, anger (when I get down on myself) and just thoughts of whatever – I look forward to them.  You know, I have about 1000 pages of stuff from the care page we had the first go around with cancer, and I have saved them all in order. I keep telling myself I am going to write a book, but not sure who would buy it besides me! So maybe this could be the sequel – wow 2 books started and none finished!

Love you all –
